Christmas Celebration 5 day trip to Lapland

A Christmas holiday in Lapland with Santa Claus himself. On the Christmas Celebration you will spend five (5) days in the Lapland holiday resort of  Olos.

Day 1 in Lapland

Christmas songs ring out, stores and homes are garlanded, Christmas is in the air. Even the airports have that festive feeling as it comes to pass that you depart by air for Lapland deep in the Lappish Fells and your chosen resort where you are to celebrate Christmas in Lapland. Accommodation is provided in hotel rooms, appartments, bungalows or cabins in accordance with your wishes. A welcome dinner provided in the restaurant. Overgarments and boots will be provided today.

Day 2 in Lapland (Christmas Eve)

The eve of Christmas has arrived.  Following a fortifying Finnish breakfast you learn the basics of Arctic transportation. Traditional Lapland awaits with husky and reindeer rides, with super fun snowmobiling for the more adventurous.. Lunch is taken at an outside setting. The spirit of a true Christmas in Lapland prevails and in this winter wonderland setting it is easy to appreciate the peace and tranquility of the area. This evening you may enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas buffet.  

Day 3 In Lapland (Christmas Day)

Following a hearty breakfast you set out on your search for Santa Claus. This will be a unique chance for children to receive a present and meet Santa Claus in Lapland on Christmas day. Once again huskies, reindeer and snowmobiles may be used and lunch will be provided in an appropreate location. Tonight’s buffet will feature favourites including mince pies, Christmas cake and Christmas pudding.

Day 4 in Lapland (Boxing Day)

Boxing Day: Following breakfast there is the opportunity to participate in one of the relaxing and fun competitions at an outside centre. You will have the chance to try your hand at skidoo slalom tests where accuracy is far more important than speed or to enjoy the more simple activities like tobogganing or other mini ice based activities.  Enjoy tonight’s farewell dinner.

Day 5 in Lapland 

Alas, your Christmas Lapland holiday is coming to an end and you will bid a sad farewell to this magic Lapland wonderland. Prior to lunch you may choose to avail of the simple pleasures of tobogganing, snowball fights or cross country or slalom skiing. Lunch is provided at your hotel, with afternoon transfer back to the airport and your return flight to the United Kingdom. A short shopping stop will also be made en route to purchase souvenirs.
