Delectable Lapland 2 day trip to Lapland

Based at the ski resort of Suomu this remains one of the last hidden gems of Lapland and follows our traditional path of securing locations in the wilderness away from main roads and in a totally un commercialised setting

Day 1 in Lapland

It's time to go in search of Santa as you fly from your chosen airport directly to Rovaniemi. Breakfast will be served during the flight and where possible aircraft with onboard video entertainment will be provided. Where airline onboard crew co-operate there will be a traditional Christmas sing-a-long. Following your arrival in Lapland, you will transfer to the resort of Suomu where accommodation will be provided in cabins or rooms according to your choice.

Late afternoon and early evening following the issue of your warm overclothing and boots to protect you from the cold, join in some simple snow games, tobogganing, tug of war, snowmobiling etc. A buffet style dinner will be provided for all, with additional children's favourites surely on the menu (hamburger, chicken nuggets etc.).

Day 2 in Lapland

Following a substantial breakfast it's now time to locate Santa Claus and you undertake an early morning departure by skidoo and sleigh directly from the hotel to a secret location where a host of activities await. Here you will find reindeer, huskies and the opportunity for snowmobiling, plus other snow based activities and of course Santa Claus. Families will have the opportunity to meet the great man himself and discuss their Christmas wishes. Lunch will be taken back at Suomu.

This afternoon you will depart back to Rovaniemi being aware that you still have the pleasure of visiting Santa Park a small theme park located underground close to the Arctic Circle shopping centre where a selection of Lapland souvenirs may be purchased, prior to your return to the United Kingdom.
