Dream of Santa 3 day trip to Lapland

Day 1 in Lapland

After arriving at Rovaniemi’s own convenient airport, the children will love being greeted en route to the resort by a reindeer with its Sami handler . This gives you the perfect photo opportunity to start your break in true Lapland style!

Our comfortable coaches will whisk you off for a short 20-25 min ride to your chosen hotel or cabin. On the way, we will call in on our Arctic clothing partner to get you fitted out with your complimentary thermal over-suits, boots, gloves and hats, so you are ready for adventure.

Fun-time – a chance to explore Rovaniemi and get your bearings in this popular resorts, or to head out into the snow to make snowmen or try tobogganing, or maybe enjoy a relaxing swim or sauna.

For guests on half board option, a wonderful welcome dinner this evening sets the scene for tomorrow’s excitement!

Day 2 in Lapland

You will be picked up for the ultimate Christmas adventure, with all the following activities available at some point during the day, all of which are included in the package:

• Husky Sled Ride : those lovable dogs just love to run, and the sensation of gliding through this winter wonderland behind a team of eager huskies is the highlight of the trip for many guests. Children ride sitting with a parent whilst grown-ups can all take a turn at actually driving your own sled on this thrilling 15 min adventure.
• Reindeer Sleigh : here in the Joulukka Adventure Forest, the reindeer sleighs are the ideal way to move around, and you can hop on and off the sleighs as you go between the various activities.
• Exclusively for Esprit guests “ Lapland Control Centre” : to see how Santa keeps track of all of his letters from around the world, and stays in touch with all of his elves and helpers, busily getting ready for Christmas.
• Joulukka Elf School : warm up with a fun lesson at elf school,  where children can join in a session learning all about elfin tricks,songs and traditions, and decorate their own tasty gingerbread! 
• Santa Claus : The highlight of the day is by snowmobile-sled on your family’s own search for Santa! Tucked away in the woods, you will find his little log cabin home, and meet Santa Claus himself in an exclusive, private family meeting with his helpers on hand ensure there is magic in the air!
• Ice Activities : A super range of snow and ice activities are available for you all to enjoy, including tobogganing,  kick-sledding, tandem skiing, mini skidoo rides for children, and the local skill of reindeer– lassoing.
• Meals & Refreshments : Lunch is also included of course – a simple hot 2 course meal  and plenty of hot berry juice, squash, tea and coffee available too. Refreshments are available indoors all day, for those times when a few minutes warming up by the log fire is needed before the next adventure. 

Finally, it’s back to your hotel or cabin accommodation to get ready for ( if you have chosen the great value half board option ) your Lapland dinner and Elf show.

Day 3 in Lapland

Fun time again, with the chance to thrill to one of the wide range of exciting optional adventures such as a snowmobile safari, skiing, tobogganing or snowshoeing.

Alternatively, you may wish to use the morning to do a little Christmas shopping in Rovaniemis’s attractive range of clothes, craft and gift shops and take a taste of Lapland home with you!

We will collect you from your accommodation by coach for the short transfer back to Ivalo airport for your return flight home, and the chance for sleepy children to dream of Santa!
