Enchanting Lapland Day trip to Lapland

Your Lapland day trip starts immediately upon arriving at Enontekio, once issued with your thermal clothing you will then be transferred to the activity area by snowmobile and sleigh ride (weather permitting). This transfer will give you the opportunity to fully appreciate the peace and calm of Lapland’s stunning scenery.

The location for the day, a traditional style large cabin on a  frozen lake shore where husky, reindeer and snowmobile rides await as well as the simple pleasures of toboganning and other snowgames, together with a horse sleigh ride through the beautiful landscape.  A visit to the snow castle is an absolute must.  Here in an anti-chamber hot drinks are served from a table constructed from ice and you can see various artefacts.

Toboggans known as Stigas are used, these provide a better steering ability and make for a more interesting ride on the specially built toboggan course.

But where is Santa Claus? For sure we know he never disappoints anyone who takes the trouble to visit him in his homeland. Therefore you will have the pleasure to meet this kindly old gentleman in his own home on an individual family basis.

Feeling hungry? Lunch is available in the cabin restaurant throughout the day.  Enjoy baked potatoes with meat or vegetarian fillings, pasta, hot soups and tempting pancakes with jam for dessert.

Sadly there will come a time when we have to bid farewell to this magical land and transfer by coach to the airport for our flight back to the UK.

A selection of souvenirs typical of Lapland will be available at the airport for those interested in securing a special memory of their visit.

Dinner will be served on the return flight home.
