Festive Lapland 4 day trip to Lapland

Having spent Christmas at home, why not extend the celebration with a short break to Lapland during the Christmas week.

Santa may of hung up his sack for another year, but he is still looking forward to meeting you all.  All the regular activities you can experience on the Pre-Christmas trips are all still available and there's the added of magic of being in Lapland during this festive period.

This trip is based in the resorts of Hetta and Karesuando.

December 27 

Your flight leaves the UK at around 10am and after landing at Enontekio a coach will transfer you to the resort of Hetta (transfer 10-15 minutes) or to Karesuando (transfer 1 hour) with collection of your suits and boots along the way.  After checking in at your chosen accommodation, your representative will host a welcome meeting.  Tonight, you can join one of the optional activities, such as a snowmobile night safari, hoping to encounter the Northern Lights (extra cost).  

December 28

After Breakfast, you head outside for your first safari - a thrilling 40 minute Husky Experience followed by lunch.  During the day you can enjoy snow activities outside, with toboggans available. If staying in the resort of Hetta, this evening, enjoy a walk to the local church for carol singing.  After dinner, you might like to join an optional night safari (extra cost).

December 29

After breakfast,  you will be joining your second included Santa safari - the one hour snowmobile adventure, followed by lunch.  A supervised childrens' snowmobile ride will be available.  Then, the highlight of the day when you board a reindeer sleigh and set off in Search of Father Christmas.  During a private family meeting in his cabin, each child has the chance to talk to Santa now that he is back from his annual journey around the world.  Each child receives a small gift.  After dinner, relax, or join one of the optional night safaris (extra cost).

December 30

Check out after breakfast, then there should be time for one final play in the snow or to join one of the optional excursions (extra cost).  After lunch, depart for Enontekio and your flight home.

Prices are based on 2-3 sharing a room at the Hotel Jussantupa in Hetta 

Grandparents discount - anyone over the age of 60 will receive a reduction of £25 per night
