Festive Lapland 4 day trip to Lapland

Having spent Christmas at home, why not extend the celebration with a short break to Lapland during the Christmas week.

Santa may of hung up his sack for another year, but he still looking forward to meeting you all.  All the regular activities you can experience on the Pre-Christmas trips are all still available and there's the added of magic of being in Lapland during this festive period.

Manchester - Hetta

27 December - After a festive flight, you land in Enontekio and are guided to your coach for the short 15 minute transfer to Hetta, picking up your thermal suits and boots along the way.  After checking in at your chosen accommodation, your representative will host a welcome meeting and will be around to answer any further questions during dinner.  Tonight, you can join of of the optional activities, such as a snowmobile night safari, hoping to encounter the Northern Lights (extra cost).  

28 December - After Breakfast, you head outside for Supervised Snow Fun, a day of activities including a Snowball Throwing Contest, Tandem Skis and Children's Skis, Snowman Building, Tug-of-War, Snow Hockey and lots more!  There will also be a supervised children's snowmobile ride.  Activities are available throughout the day.  A hot lunch will be provided.  Then, the highlight of the day when you board a reindeer sleigh and set off in search of Father Christmas.  During a private family meeting in his cabin, each child will have a chance to talk with Santa and receive a small gift.  This evening, enjoy a walk to the local church.  After a short welcome by the vicar and carol singing, you return to your hotel for dinner.

29 December - After breakfast,  head out on your first safari - either a 40 minute Husky Experience or an exhilarating 1.5 hour Snowmobile Adventure, followed by a warming buffet lunch at the hotel.  Throughout the day you can enjoy snow activities outside, with toboggans available free and kick sledges (deposit payable).  Or there's plenty of family fun to be had making snowmen or enjoying a good old-fashioned snowball fight!  Alternatively, you might opt to join the inside craft activities, or maybe try one of our exciting optional excursions, such as trying your hand at Reindeer Herding (extra cost).  After a special Festive Dinner, relax, or join one of our optional night safaris.

30 December - Check out after breakfast, before joining your last Santa safari, a 40 minute Husky Experience or a 1.5 hour Snowmobile Adventure, which ever you did not join previously. There should be time for one final play in the snow or to join one of our optional excursions.  After a hot lunch, depart for Enontekio and your flight home.

London Gatwick - Karesuando

27 December -Day One - On arrival at Enontekio airport in Lapland, join your coach for the one hour transfer to Karesuando, picking up your thermal suits and boots along the way.  Watch out for reindeer in the woods!  After checking in the Davvi Arctic Lodge, your representative will host a welcome meeting, and discuss the content of your break in further detail, and then during dinner will be on hand to answer any further questions you may have. Tonight, the opportunity to join an optional excursion (extra cost), such as a night safari, maybe encountering the Northern lights.
