Intermezzo 4 day trip to Lapland

An ideal tonic for those post Christmas blues could well be a 3 night adventure holiday in Lapland. Filling the gap betweeen Christmas and New Year once still retains a true festive spirit shilst enjoying some of the most unusual activities possible. Here one has the opportunity to participate in winter thrills without the spills. Imagince driving a motorisied skidoo across deep snow, along a frozen river or testing your driving techniques in an Artic challange. Then it's back to nature enjoying the thrills of a ride with a husky team and enjoying rides withh reindeer. yet when the day ends one can retire to wonderful log cabins with their own private sauna, shower and WC. This is the tour for the budding Arctic Explorer with a penchant for a cosy warm bed!

Day 1 in Lapland

Following your arrival in Lapland one transfers to Luosto where you will be accommodated in your log cabin or hotel. Evening dinner.

Day 2 in Lapland

A relaxing start to the day with breakfast in the main log cabin restaurant. You will then depart for a day of adventure to enjoy reindeers, huskies and snowmobiles at various locations. Lunch will be taken at an outside venue. This evening enjoy a meal in the log cabin restaurant recounting the day's experiences to your newfound friends.

Day 3 in Lapland

A day of further adventure at an outside location involving a full programme of reindeers, huskies and snowmobiles with challenges undertaken in accordance with the level of ability shown. Once again lunch will be taken at this outside setting. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 4 in Lapland

A choice of activities are offered for your final morning in Luosto. Join in the mini snow games where you can try your hand at our tug of war competition, ice skating to musical accompaniment, or simply enjoy the pleasure of tobogganing, or relax and enjoy the resort facilities. Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be the opportunity to buy some souvenirs of Lapland before transferring back for your return flight to the United Kingdom.

Breakfast and evening meals are taken either in the main log cabin restaurant or at the Hotel Luostotunturi.

AN OPTIONAL VISIT TO SANTA

Christmas has passed and Santa will be resting following his arduous duties. He nevertheless always welcomes children visiting him in his homeland.  As one of the afternoon children's activities, a visit directly  to his cabin high in the fells will be arranged for any interested parties.  Reservations will need to be made on you arrival night in resort.  Please note, Santa's special elves are resting and therfore do not appear on this tour.
