Magical Interlude 4 day trip to Lapland

It must be rare to find a location where magic and fantasy combine in a natural setting to reach a point where dreams can surely become a reality. In the Lapland resort of Luosto, one has the opportunity to go sledging, to enjoy reindeer and husky rides and snowmobile rides. Yet there is so much more to the magic of Lapland - the home of Father Christmas. His Elves and reindeer await and one thing is for sure .... Day 1 in Lapland

Fly from your chosen airport to Lapland and transfer to Luosto and your accommodation. Watch out for Tricky Dicky the elf.  Who knows what tricks may be played? Allow the magic of Lapland and Christmas to shine through as you relax and enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 in Lapland

Your Search for Santa starts today ... but will you find him? Your adventure is planned for today using a combination of snowmobiles (skidoos), husky dogs and reindeer. Santa's reindeer, Donner and Blitzen, will give your scouts advice as to Santa's Location, but don't worry if you do not find him today as there is still plenty of time for your search. Will you see Snowy Bowy or Speedy Sam, the elves who may assist you in your search? A simple lunch will be provided. Your evening is free to enjoy your meal back at Luosto.

Day 3 in Lapland

Skidoos, reindeer and huskies will once again be used as your search continues. Travelling across prepared tracts in an area known for its peace and tranquillity is a truly exhilarating experience. Lunch once again will be taken at the most appropriate time and setting. Father Christmas is known never to disappoint children taking the time and trouble to visit him and if you were not able to meet him yesterday, today will be the day for that very special encounter. Enjoy a farewell diner.

Day 4 in Lapland

A choice of activities are offered for your final morning here in Luosto. Join in the mini snow games where you can try your hand at a tug of war competitions. Alternatively, ice skating to Christmas musical accompaniment, or simply enjoy the pleasure of tobogganing or relax and enjoy the resort facilities. Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be the opportunity to buy souvenirs of Lapland before transferring back for your return flight to the United Kingdom.

Your Meals at Luosto

Breakfast and evening meals are taken either in the main log cabin restaurant or the restaurant of your hotel.

Igloo Accommodation

Whether you are accommodated in a hotel or cabin, the lure of the Arctic may prevail. Arrangements have made for igloos to be built (subject to satisfactory weather conditions) and invite you to request an overnight stay in one. No additional charge is made.

Souvenir CD

Throughout your stay, you and your children will have the opportunity to sing along to our own very special song "In search of Santa and his Elves". As a lasting memory you will be provided with one CD per booking form on departure from Lapland.

Souvenir DVD

As a special memory of your visit to Lapland you will receive a free souvenir DVD (one per booking form) consisting of general footage of Lapland.  The highlight will be the footage of your personal visit to Santa, which will be included within your personal copy.
