Day 1 in Lapland

Santa's Magic Lapland holiday starts on arrival at Ivalo Airport where the children will enjoy being met by a reindeer and one of Santa's cheeky elves!
There is then a short, comfortable 25-minute transfer to your  hotel or cabin in Saariselka where it is time for your  'Michelin-man' impersonations, as you are fitted with your special complimentary thermal over-suits, boots, socks, gloves and hats to protect you from the arctic Lapland weather.

There is time for fun - a chance to explore, make snowmen, borrow the free toboggans or just relax in a fragrant Finnish sauna. For guests on the half board option, a wonderful welcome dinner to set the scene for tomorrow's excitement, whilst those in Santa's Christmas Cabins will enjoy a home-cooked meal!

Day 2 in Lapland

You will be picked up for the ultimate Christmas Lapland adventure. The following exciting activities are all included:

• Reindeer Sleigh Ride: meet your reindeer and the local Sami guide, learn their names, then take a wonderful 7-10 minute ride into the picturesque woods, with the children cuddled under blankets on your knee.
• Husky-sled ride: where children get to ride (and shout 'mush, mush!') and grown-ups can all take a turn at actually 'driving' your sled! Racing through the woods and across the snow is a perfect way to experience Lapland's winter wonderland.
• Lunch: is included to 'recharge your batteries' for the afternoon. This will be a simple warming 2 course meal, with plenty of hot berry juice, squash, tea and coffe also available.
• Snow and Ice Activities: snow-hockey, kick-sledding (a crazy cross of scooter and toboggan!), ice-fishing, tandem skiing, mini snowmobiles for the children and tobogganing!
• Santa Claus:See your children's faces light up with wonder as you fulfil your family's Search for Santa and meet him in his hideaway log-cabin home, with all his helpers on hand to make you welcome and ensure that there is magic in the air! EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE FAMILY MEETING!
• Refreshments are included too, and are available throughout the day, for those times when a few minutes warming up round a crackling log fire is welcomed.

Finally, back 'home' in your hotel, why not finish the day with a wonderful optional Gala Dinner (included on the half board option).  In the Christmas Cabins meanwhile, a special festive dinner rounds off the day, while you re-live every unforgettable moment of your biggest ever Christmas adventure!

Day 3 in Lapland

Fun-time again, with the chance to thrill to another big adventure, either pre-booked in the UK or chosen the night before from our "Optional Adventures"

This morning also gives you a chance to browse the village's souvenir shops, to choose from the traditional hand-made Lappish items, Christmas gifts and toys.

We will collect you from your hotel by coach for the short ride to the airport to catch your flight home, to a chorus of fond farewells!

• Snowmobile Safari - An unforgettable adventure, zooming through snowfields, woodland and over frozen lakes.
  Adult-only Safari (2 hrs) - £89 (one person per snowmobile), or £69 (two people per snowmobile) .  Family Safari (1 hr) - Adults £49/ Children 4-11 years £39
• Husky Heaven - if our included husky-sled ride whets your appetite, this 1-hour trip gives you longer to experience the unrivalled thrill of 'driving' your own team of huskies through the pristine landscape.

• Rudolph's Reindeer Run - a wonderful ride to remember, snuggled under blankets as reindeer pull your sleigh across the snow! Family rides available, or romantic sleighs for two!

• Enjoy a steaming sauna - free in all our hotels.
• Take the children swimming at the Hotel Holiday Club pool (FREE to those staying there).
• Ride the ski-bus to the top of Kaunispää Fell, the local ski-hill, and toboggan down the 1.2km run.
• Stroll the village shops for Christmas presents and souvenirs.
• Try snow-shoeing - the perfect way to explore off the beaten track. Adults £25 / Children 6-11 years £17
• Northern Lights Adventure - An evening snowmobile expedition in search of the fabulous Northern Lights, including a camp-fire break for a warming drink.  Adults £69/ Children 4-11 years £49. 

Prices are based on the Hotel Tunturi in A Type Bedroom sleeping 2-4 on a Bed & Breakfast basis.  Half Board supplements on request. 

Child prices vary depending on whether a child in a particular age group is the first, second, third child etc in the family, please check with ourselves for an accurate quote  

FREE CHILD PLACES where available apply to children aged 2-5 at time of travel and child must share with at least 2 full paying passengers 

Also available are 'Santa's Christmas Cabins'.  Cosy, catered log cabins with log fire and sauna.  Includes substantial breakfast and 3 course evening meal.  Available on selected dates.  Ideal for parties of 8-10.
