Santastic Secret Forest 4 day trip to Lapland

With a spectacular setting nestled amongst seven snowladen fells , the pretty resort of Yllasjarvi lends itself perfectly to the Santastic Secret Forest adventure.

Santa's cheeky elves have been up to mischief again, hiding some of his Christmas presents in the wintry forests and Santa needs your help retrieving the gifts, and what better way to hunt for clues that the elves have hidden  than by whizzing through the winter wonderland on snowmobile rides, toboggan rides, husky dog and reindeer sleigh rides.

You'll also have the chance to visit Santa's busy Post Office, take part in an Arctic Circle Ceremony and enjoy a Gala Meal with Santa himself - the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Day 1 in Lapland

From your chosen UK airport, fly to Kittila where you'll be met and transferred to your hotel.  Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner before hitting the pillow in readiness for the adventure ahead.

Day 2 in Lapland

This morning, embark on an exciting treasure hunt through the forest of Yllasjarvi to search for Santa and his cheeky elves.  Deep in the snow-laden secret forest you will whiz along on snowmobiles, husky dog sleighs and reindeer sleighs all in the search for clues and Christmas presents hidden by the playful elves.  Keep a look out for Santa's secret woodland cabin and you might even catch sight of Santa himself!  Throughout the morning you'll have the opportunity to catch your breath and warm yourselves beside a roaring campfire with a glass of hot berry juice.  After lunch at the hotel, the opportunity to take part in a traditional Arctic Circle ceremony.  Here you'll be welcomed into the arctic wilds with a cheerful sing-a-long around the campfire, and receive your very own Lappish bell.  Dinner served back at the hotel.

Day 3 in Lapland

Morning at leisure, and then after lunch at your hotel, you can experience the magic of Chirstmas for yourself at Santa's Post Office!  Dleiver your gift lists directly to Santa's busy sorting office, before taking a peek inside the Elves toy-making workshop and listening to their cheerful tales.  As night falls, wrap up warm and head into the forest for a festive sing song around the camp fire, followed by a fabulous Christmas Gala meal!  The highlight of the evening is a visit from Santa Claus himself, with gifts for everyone! 

Day 4 in Lapland

Breakfast and check out, with the morning free to reminisce and swap stories about your Santastic Forest adventures.  After lunch, depart for Kittila airport and your return flight.

Four night stays follow exactly the same itinerary as the three night stays, with an extra day at leisure.   The Christmas Gala Feast will take place on your last night.

5 Night Christmas Itinerary

23 December - Fly from your chosen UK airport to Kittila where you'll be transferred to your hotel and greeted with a welcome drink and dinner.

24 December - After breakfast, enjoy an exhilarating morning of wintersports including husky dog and reindeer sleigh rides through snowy woodlands, with warming log fires and hot drinks along the way.  This afternoon, a visit to Santa's Post Office where you may hand deliver your Christmas wish list to the sorting office, before visiting the Elves workshop where they will be busy making colourful Christmas toys.

Christmas Day - A free day for you to do as you please.  You could indulge in some of the optional activities, or simply enjoy taking time out with the family and unwrapping your presents.  As night approaches, a spectacular Christmas gala meal gets underway, before a visit from Santa himself....with a sleighful of gifts for everyone!

Boxing Day - A full day at leisure.  Relax and enjoy your holiday resort or opt for some of the thrilling optional excursions on offer.

Boxing Day -  Another day at leisure for you to enjoy whatever takes your fancy. 

28 December - Breakfast and check out, with the morning free to reflect on all the excitement of your holiday.  After lunch, depart for Kittila and your flight home.

4 Night New Year Itinerary

28 December - Fly from your chosen airport to Kittila where you'll be transferred to your hotel and greeted with welcome drinks and dinner.

29 December - A memorable day is in store.  After breakfast enjoy a thrilling morning of toboggan rides, a reindeer and husky dog sled ride as well as snowmobiling.  Afternoon at leisure.

30 December - A full day at leisure, so why not take advantage of some of the optional activities on offer (extra cost) or maybe try some skiing? 

New Year's Eve - Another day at leisure, but as the evening of the 31st approaches, final preparations are made for a fantastic New Year's Eve meal.  The festivities and New Year countdown will make this a New Year's Eve to remember...

New Year's Day - Breakfast and check-out with the morning free.  After lunch, depart your hotel for Kittila airport and your return flight.
