White Christmas 5 day trip to Lapland

Make this year's Christmas a truly memorable and magical one, deep inside the Arctic Circle, in Lapland, the home of Father Christmas.  Christmas is always magical but even more so when a blanket of snow covers the ground and there's the added anticipation of meeting Father Christmas himself.

Choose from an excellent choice of accommodation in both locations.  Your visit will include a private family visit with Santa by reindeer sleigh, Snowmobile, & Husky Safaris and lots more, with the added magic of being in Lapland for Christmas Day.

December 23

Your flight departs at around 10am and on arrival at Enontekio you are guided to your coach for a transfer to the resort of Hetta (10-15 minutes) or to Karesuando (1 hour), with collection of your suits and boots along the way.   After checking in at the hotel, your representative will host a welcome meeting.  Tonight, you may like to join an optional activity (extra cost).

Christmas Eve

Hetta - After breakfast you head out on your first Safari - a thrilling 40 minute Husky Experience followed by lunch. Throughout the day you can enjoy snow acitivities outside, with toboggans available.  Alternatively, you might like to join the indoor craft activities, or maybe try one of the exciting optional excursions (extra cost).  Return to your hotel for dinner.

Karesuando - After breakfast join your first included Santa safari - the one hour snowmobile adventure followed by lunch.  A supervised childrens' snowmobile ride will be available.  Then, the highlight of the day when you board a reindeer sleigh in search of Father Christmas.  During a private family meeting in his cabin, each child has the chance to talk with Santa and receive a small gift.  After dinner, relax, or join an optional activity (extra cost).

Christmas Day 

Hetta - After breakfast, join your second Santa safari, the one hour snowmobile adventure followed by lunch.  A supervised childrens' snowmobile ride will be available.  Then, the highlight of the day when you board a reindeer sleigh and set off in search of Father Christmas.  During a private family meeting in his cabin, each child has the chance to talk with Santa and receives a small gift.  After a special Christmas Dinner, relax, or join an optional night safari (extra cost)

Karesuando - After Breakfast, join your second included Santa safari - a 40 minute Husky Experience followed by lunch.  Throughout the day you can enjoy snow activities outside.  This evening it's the Christmas Dinner after which you can relax or join an optional activity (extra cost).

Boxing Day

Hetta - After breakfast, you could join an optional activity (extra cost), or alternatively you may want to spend time playing in the snow with the family.  After lunch, the afternoon is free to relax, enjoy some more family fun in the snow, or perhaps join an excursion (extra cost).  This evening, enjoy carol singing at the local church.  After dinner, relax, or join an optional activity (extra cost).

Karesuando - After breakfast you can join an optional excursion (extra cost).  After lunch each family will be provided with the materials to decorate a gingerbread house, with a prize for the best.  There's also the chance to join a Wilderness Treasure Hunt!  This evening, enjoy carol singing at the local church.  After dinner, the opportunity to join a night safari (extra cost).

December 27  

Check out after breakfast, after which the morning is free.  After lunch, depart for Enontekio and your flight home.

Prices are based on 2-3 sharing at the Hotel Jussantupa in Hetta
