The Hetan Lomakyla cabins in Lapland are an attractive collection of upmarket cabins in a pleasant location by the side of a river (frozen and snow-covered during the winter). Meals are taken in the small restaurant by the entrance to the site.
The wooden cabins are distinctively painted grey. Most contain elegant log interiors, lounge sitting areas with a small fireplace, and a kitchenette.
The larger cabins sleep five: three single beds on an upper floor, two in a ground floor twin room, and there’s space for a couple of extra beds for young children.
The smaller cabins have just one floor and sleep up to four: two in a twin room, one in a bed set into an alcove (usually popular with children!) and one on a sofa bed.
There are also spacious family rooms which contain two twin rooms (so sleeping up to four). These rooms are simply furnished. They contain table and chairs and a mini-kitchenette.
All cabins have: Kitchenette, Lounge with fireplace, Sauna, Shower and WC.
