This slope-side hotel is the perfect choice for families who want to spend as much time out on the snow as possible. The chair-lift arrives in front of the hotel for easy access to the slopes (occasionally floodlit) and the toboggan runs are just a short walk from the door.
The roof-terrace is a favourite spot for night time star-gazing in search of mystical and awe-inspiring Northern Lights – thermal suits recommended!
The restaurant is one of the top 20 in the whole of Finland and it’s Lappish specialities and international cuisine are hard to beat, complemented by the wonderful views of the wooded slopes through the restaurants’ panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows.
If you want to head into the resort centre, it is only approx. eight minutes taxi ride away and the Santa Sport Leisure Centre only approx. 8 minutes downhill walking distance, with it’s swimming-pool, tennis, squash, sauna and steamrooms.
Type A Bedrooms ( sleeps 2)
Twin Beds with an en-suite shower, WC, TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Type B Family Suites ( sleeps 2-3 )
As type A, but with an additional single bed and private sauna.
Type C Family Bedrooms ( sleeps 3-4)
As Type A, but with an additional double sofa-bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children under 12) and a private sauna.
Type D Family Suites ( sleeps 4-5 )
Twin bedroom with a seperate lounge, with a double and a single sofa bed (suitable for 3 children or 1 adult and 1 child). Same facilities as a type A, but with an additional private sauna.
Type E Family Cabins (sleeps 5-7)
These are traditional semi-detached wooden cabins, located in the hotel grounds between 1 - 5 minutes easy walk away from the main hotel. There are 3 separate sleeping areas. On the ground floor is one twin bedroom and a seperate lounge area consisting of a double sofa bed, dining table, chairs, fireplace, TV and kitchenette. There is a mezzanine loft area consisting of one single bed, under the eaves and overlooking the lounge area. Off the mezzanine is a further twin room with a sloping ceiling. The shower/wc/sauna is located off of the hallway.
Type F Family Cabins (sleeps 5-7)
Newer versions of type E, with an additional shower and WC off of the loft area.
